"Color is candy."

My work focuses on the commodity of violent entertainment and the consumption by a desensitized American generation. In the Digital Age, we are rapidly exposed to and exchange digital imagery of every kind. As we have grown up in the era of the Internet and video games, we have become desensitized.

The photographs I construct both acknowledge the presence of the viewer and the act of organizing a violent event, in narrative and in production. I am not outside of or immune to the dissemination of violent imagery, I am an active participant.
